How we handle data
The long version of why we think this can be done properly, and what we have decided not to do.
We only write to business addresses
To info@, bookings@, contact@ and the like. Never to one specific person’s own address, even when we have it. This is not a setting you can turn off: it is a default filter in the code.
We do store data about people
Names and roles, when the business itself publishes them. We store them because they help you know who you are talking to, and we do not write to them. Every field is recorded with its date: if someone asks, we have an answer.
Unsubscribe is one click and cannot be removed
Every email carries the automatic unsubscribe header required by RFC 8058, on top of the visible link. Neither you nor we can turn it off. An unsubscribe applies to your whole account, not just the campaign it came from.
We verify before sending, not when collecting
A contact arrives unverified and is checked right before we write to it. That way we do not pile up verifications for addresses nobody will ever write to.
